Drink of The Week

Bloody Mary

One of my favorite drinks is the Bloody Mary and had to make myself one this evening for our Cocktail Hour.  Yea my husband and I have seriously started having an unofficial Cocktail Hour.  He usually prefers to have some whiskey with a few ice cubes. I like having one of these when I want to be healthy! I just use some V8, Worcester sauce to taste, I like some celery seeds for flavor, can put some lime or lemon juice, maybe some Tabasco sauce, oh as of course VODKA!! Garnish with a piece of celery.

Wow I'm so tired I fell asleep on the couch and my husband closed the lap top and put away! Must go to bed!

I looooooove a good Bloody Mary. I don't make them very often at home, but there are plenty of places in Seattle that serve good ones. I especially like the spots that have a huge Bloody Mary bar - the waiter brings your vodka, then you add whatever you want (tomato juice, olives, celery, cocktail onions, worcestershire, tobasco, etc.) YUM!

I like mine extra spicy.

That looks and sounds pretty perfect to me - I'd like to kick one back myself! Have a great weekend!

A cocktail hour sounds like a fab plan! I never drink bloody marys (maries?!) because I'm not so keen on tomato juice. But it does sound deceptively healthy!
